Spider-Man walks into the trap of the supervillains, calling themselves the Insidious Six, at a warehouse. Spider-Man attempts to battle the six, but is captured and unmasked, although he manages to convince the supervillains that he is a fraud. Meanwhile, Dr. Connors reveals that Spider-Man has begun to mutate further, which is the cause of his powers briefly vanishing.
