X-49, a retired robot hitman, narrates his origins as the only member of one of Aku’s defunct robot forces with emotions and how Aku kidnapped his pet dog Lulu to blackmail him into pursuing Jack. He hunts Jack in a deserted robot factory but falls for a trick, and the samurai fatally attacks him. Before dying, he tells Jack to take good care of Lulu.
